A treat for sure

Hi all... I have been reading a lot these days... cases... books... novels... wateva... though m reading 5 books rite now... was able to finish the last picked the earliest... m reading:-
  • Shobha De's Superstar India
  • A book on "Kaizen implementation"
  • A book by Jack Welch ... dont rembr the name
  • A book on Supply Chain Management... given to by ma proff
  • And finally I read this "3 mistakes of my life" ... new five point someone famed Chetan Bhagat's new flick..(his third I suppose)

The last book was a thin one so I finished in one sitting... too good a book... worth reading once.... It talked about life of three friends... Nd I loved the character of Govind literally... too geeky... rational approach... too good at maths... and I hated Ishaan... measures everything by emotion... arre itna charity... business chala rahe ho ya langar... Omi was a normal indian character to me... and I was OK with him... the story went thru nice tantrums... meandering thru nice phases.... its a well spun story in a typically gujarati bakground which tailored contemporary issues and the timeline happenings in Gujarat... I mean Godhara Kaand... earthquakes etc... Novel reflected the religio-secular issues pretty well... nd I loved reading it... The way the story blended into the environs created was spellbinding ... however I felt that climax was over stretched.... and finance was miscalculated... I mean guys earning modest amounts of 5ooo-10,000 pm per head can't afford to go to Australia... somethings were too difficult to digest.... The book was pretty rich on romance with a good teacher student romance element .... and a clear cut paradigm shift in the scenario of present teenage gals... great goin Chetan... I wud give a thumbs up to this book.... a 9.2/10.... Also this book is preety thin so u can finish it fast...
