ell initially I had a thot that all this is some time pass stuff... but something from HUL HR ( Rated best in whole Asia) can't be just another time pass stuff... put them aside coz sessionals were on the board.... Last the haan!.. hamesha ke liye finish... Gud hai... picked that stuff yesterday... Started reading novel... OMG... its really hilarious... Rohit ( the narrator)... is quite a treat to read... the satire he made on rural life ... on himself... his stint mate... Its actually a story of two guys from IIM-A... who have been recruited by HUL... after that for their rural stint they were send to ETAH District in UP ( think its a district .. but no real idea..) ... they are sent to Rangpurgaon which is near to Ganjdundwara.... awesome piece to read... The protagonist really had quite a meandering experience... at one point of time he really appreciated the rural life... the closeness to nature... at the same time he sulks around for not having basic amenities... He was the one who don't care about making difference to other people's life... on the other hand Shyam his friend was very much into it... nd blvd that small differences to lives of others ... small hopes... grow eventually... taking shape of big endeavors and demeanors.. The initiative they took has taken shape of a movement now... Read it here. See they made difference to so many lives... and so much more as this movement grows... ( even if novel said that its fiction... whosoever first formulated that idea really deserves kudos... hats off).. I mean see around how many people wanna make difference to other people's lives... Whenever I ask some1 their goal of life... they always say... I wanna be successful .. or like to occupy key position in a MNC.. (This answer was actually ridiculous...the worst I have ever heard )...Neywaz... I would rate the book 3.5/5 ... coz its hilarious... it gives a message ... it inspires... and its truly a tr8...Next was this movie " Freedom Writers"... I saw the DVD... the casting includ
ed Hilary Swank... an academy award winner... cool... lets see then... I loaded the DVD... some gud music... hiphop... nice one... lyrics are "I have got a dream"... ( even m listening that rite now..).. newayz movie was truly great... It talked about the racial confrontations.. i guess in states background... there is this teacher Miss G ( Swank)... She was given a class where students are quite tempting... don't listen... create mayhem every now nd then... the reason behind is mere insecurity... the blacks against white and vice versa... How can people discriminate on basis of colour... too bad... newayz Miss G handled that class quite well... and she dived into the actual stories and root cause behind all this... She brought a ray of life in their lives... She told them that they have every right to live... and they can also dream... ( Man! I have got a dream)... Fabulous work... too cool... nd somewhere I cried ( yeah boys do cry.. :D ) ... Awesome piece of work... The way the movie capture the circumstances ... the emotional and physical conditions of the marred people... Its really a heavy feeling that sank in my stomach somewhere in the movie mid... God!... Its such a realtime show... I can connect with all the students... I would rate the movie a 4/5... awesome piece .... must watchBut the movie and novel is not a point... the point is that " Why do they want me to see this movie and read that novel" ... I thot over that for quite 30 mins... and than finally deduced out of everything.... Its all about making difference to lives of others... Isn'it... Its about doing something for others... just think:
Have we done our role
Have we contributed to someones' life
Have we made a difference
Have I ever brought a ray of hope for ny1
Have I ever made a real use of the education that I got in my whole academia... I stood as a topper throughout... but have I done nything with that education...
Have I done something for a kid... whom I saw, barefoot, going to school... Yes I did that...
Its really about making difference to lives of others... I have got a dream... my dream is to be free
