Passion!!

Familiar world... duh!!... this word is perhaps the most abused and dilapidated in its usage.. People use to ponder on that to reflect some sort of phenomenal interest.. Its more of a slang these days rather than a respectable alphabetic conglomerate.. Even I don't agree too much with the literal definitions furnished by common dictionaries... Its not just strong interest or similar stuff... but its much more than that... far far away from that.. so what is it?? I donno precisely.. but its life.. its goal.. its addiction.. its a narcotic supplementing ur vitals.. Its some energy that leads to resurgence of an alter ego... a person which is capable of goin to unbound vistas... Its a motivation... its a dream... i m feelin short of words to define the meanin... blv me its much more than that... I dont blv that buying lot of Dvds' and Cds' from a Planet M store shows ur passion towards music.. Passion is what Sam Walton had when he dreamt of Walmart... he had passion for growth and customer care... Passion is what elvis presley had for his instruments.. Passion is something Jack Welch had for making GE the no.1 company in any business they foray into.. Passion to win is smthin that exists between these cola companies marketing studs.. who just thrive for surpassin the rivals.. its not about brandin or positionin.. its about a fire in oneself.. which burns on a fuel called passion unleashing enormous amount of energy which can drive an individual till eternity... Its not about winnin or failure... How come Steve Jobs rose again and again... And why people have lesser interest in Warren Buffet than Bill Gates or even Vinod Khosla... Its all passion... people live and die for it... smtime it asks for a whole lifetime to be there where u alwayz wanted to be... Smtime it become too difficult for oneself to even take a single step.. but sm people are crzy enuf abt their passion and history reckons that.. Alexander had a dream and a passion to rule the world... All these people inspire us to chase our dreams... go get urself.. find urself.. ask urself... nd chase ur passion!!

Wait till it becomes pervasive

"Organizational culture" I had my maiden tryst with the subjective vistas of this word in my Industrial Psychology elective class lecture... the most borin and despised part of curriculum... I too accompanied my other batchmates in shouting booooos and similar stuff in those classes like listening to music on MP3 player ... but eventually my experience with corporates and deep interest in them have made me understand the realm out of this psycho bizzarre... Now I have realised the core concept and have really developed great respect for the same... U mighthav heard about things like corporate vision... codes of business... and thot wat the hell this crap is... but we don't know that there are people who eat this live this and die for this... these principles are not just some blackinked blots for them... they r their identity... Once somebody joins an organization... we can easily see a change in his way of talikng ... body language attire... etiquette etc.. Some attribute this as some kinda attitude or job seeded arrogancy... but go a bit deeper and u will soon realize the root cause... Its the organizational culture.. lets avoid a detour to a psycho class of mine to understand what it is... I have alwayz been protagonistic in my write ups and strongly advocate against definitions of the otherwise simple ideologies... Its just the breath of an organization... Great people have all repeated the same things in their own ways... consolidate them all and u will find that what they wanna say is
"People make the difference.."
Its true to its core.. but how then one organization is better than other... its how those people are trained.. its similar to how our parents infuse certain traits in us which become an integral part of our life .. that is what we say is our Culture. .. Obviously the same concept applies to the corporates as well... here the parents are the the top management... which percolates the code of conduct and act as role models for the people in the organization... Over time people related to human resources have identified certain human competencies and you can clearly see an excelling competency map statistics for a professional from an organization with great cultural values.. It strenghens the way you work and targets directly the thinking, creative and innovative abilities... its like a supplement which enthralls ur vitals and secrets the required hormones.... after all Real business is just pure adrenaline
